Majestic and elegant this hand carved horse has tall strong legs, with a well defined bone structure. It is modeled upon an Australian wild horse and hand carved upon the island of Bali, Indonesia.

The hand carved horse is made from Albizia wood, the rough shape is whittled down while the wood is still wet. Once a basic shape has been carved, the body and legs are finely sanded to create a smooth finish. The fine detail of the mare and facial features is added using an extremely sharp knife.

The horse is then kiln dried to extract any moisture (preventing any future risk of cracking) before being stained and then polished. Once complete the horse is very realistic in stature and proportion with an adorable balance between simplicity and intricacy.
