Hand Carved Zebra - Black and White

Fun and friendly this hand carved zebra has a realistic mare created ingeniously from broom bristles. Carved in Bali, Indonesia, the artizan creates this style by drilling small holes in the back of the zebra's neck and then twisting together brrom bristles before pushing them into the neck.

The finish is created simply with black and white paint after the carved shape is kiln dried to extract any moisture from the just harvested albizia wood.
