Spotted Style Giraffe

Polka dot in design the spotted style giraffe is an artistic creation which appeals to giraffe collectors looking for something unique. The contrasting tones between the stained giraffe and natural wood polka dots allows this piece to be noticed against most backdrops.

The finish is created by initially lightly burning the whole finished carving, stain is then applied to create this dark brown coloration with a subtle sheen. Once this is completed the artisan cuts out the circular notches with an extremely sharp knife, this sounds easy enough, but in fact it is extremely skilled work.
